Welcome to the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant (VITA) website for the Town of Manchester!

IT'S YOUR MONEY -- CLAIM IT, SAVE IT, GROW IT

The VITA program is staffed by IRS certified volunteers and provides free income tax return preparation to eligible individuals and families (annual household income of less than $56,000).

VITA helps working families take advantage of all the tax credits they are eligible for.  VITA services also helps eligible tax payers avoid the high costs and sometimes predatory practices associated with tax preparation companies keeping more money in the pockets of the individuals and families who need it most.
